Emily Fleming, LPCC
Owner, Mental Health Therapist
Emily uses a somatic focused, relationship based psychodynamic approach called AEDP. This approach focuses on emotions that resonate and are recognized in the body (somatic awareness) as well as exploring and understanding parts of self and inner-child healing. More information on AEDP can be found at aedpinstitute.org. Emily earned her Master’s in Counseling from Arizona State University in 2011. She has extensive experience working with complex trauma and has provided trainings to first responders and other professionals to increase awareness of the effects of trauma and work towards creating a community that is trauma informed in their approach to social concerns. Emily also practices faith-based counseling based primarily on being a Christian and looks forward to obtaining formal instruction in this area.
Emily’s personal interests include her focus on God and serving Him, continual personal health and development, hiking, gardening, cooking and eating good food, singing, music, being a mom and continual efforts to balance work-life endeavors.
Rebekah Martin, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Rebekah graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 2022 with a Master of Arts in Counseling. Rebekah joined Sierra Blanca Counseling as primarily a telehealth therapist in 2023. She is passionate about providing a safe and gentle space for her clients to heal and grow. She desires to help people gain emotional freedom through the counseling process, enabling them to begin to step into the fullness of who they were created to be. Her main therapeutic approach is Person Centered Therapy. But, depending on the client’s needs and preferences, she can also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Experiential Therapy using simple art techniques aimed at identifying and exploring the connections between thoughts, feelings, and actions. She is also able to provide counseling in which Biblical Christian faith is incorporated into sessions. Rebekah’s personal interests include spending time with her husband, family, and pets. She also loves reading, baking, painting, and the outdoors.
Yasna Quiveors, NCC, LPCC
Mental Health Therapist (Tele-health)
Yasna is a humanistic, person-centered therapist who began practicing in the state of New Mexico in 2013. Yasna joined the Sierra Blanca Counseling family in 2018. After relocating to New Jersey in 2020, she now serves our local community as SBC’s tele-behavioral health therapist. She is independently licensed in both New Mexico and New Jersey. Yasna is a graduate from the College of Education at the University of New Mexico (May 2013), where she studied Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Yasna also holds a master’s degree in Sociology from New Mexico State University (May 2006). She has experience providing therapy in residential, outpatient, and in-home settings. Yasna is trained in EMDR, DBT, and Applied Behavioral Analysis. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, families, adults, and children to identify and treat trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, attachment issues, marital discord, identity concerns, and adjustment disorders. Yasna is proud to identify as an LGBTQ+ ally.
Yasna’s personal interests include travel, cactus and succulent gardening, creative writing, yoga, photography, animal welfare, women’s studies, anthropology, and sociological issues of race and identity.
